Article Submission
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
We kindly ask authors to use the journal template when preparing the manuscript.
Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted by one of the authors via email. Files in .docx format without additional formatting are accepted. Submissions by persons other than the authors are not permitted.
The submitting author is responsible for communication with the editorial office during the review and peer-review process. In case of technical difficulties with submission, the author may contact the editorial office for support.
Submission Conditions
Submission of a manuscript implies that:
- the material has not been previously published;
- the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal;
- all co-authors have agreed to the submission;
- all necessary institutional approvals have been obtained, if required.
The official date of receipt of the manuscript is the date of confirmation by the editorial office. The editorial office reserves the right to perform language editing to improve readability.
Publication Restrictions
- Only one article by the same author or group of authors may be published in a single issue of the journal.
- A new manuscript may be submitted only after the review process of the previous one is completed.
- Articles are not published in parts.
- The journal publishes original research papers or review articles only.
Article Structure
The manuscript must include:
- Title
- Full name(s) of the author(s)
- Full name of the institution with address
- E-mail of the corresponding author
- Abstract (at least 1800 characters)
- Keywords (no more than 10 words)
- Main text
- Conclusions
- References
The text must not contain columns or additional formatting. A separate list of abbreviations is not required; explanations should be provided at first mention in the text. The section “Recommendations” is not allowed.
Units of Measurement
All units of measurement must be presented in accordance with the International System of Units (SI).
Abstract
The abstract must:
- be self-contained;
- not contain references.
It should include:
- the purpose of the study;
- methodology;
- main results.
Article Length
The manuscript (including tables and figures) must not exceed 15 A4 pages. A larger volume is possible only upon agreement with the editorial office.
Figures
- Must be submitted as separate files (TIFF, JPEG, GIF, etc.).
- Resolution: at least 300 dpi.
- Numbered in the order of appearance.
- Figure captions must be included in the manuscript text.
Tables
Tables must be numbered consecutively. Each table must have a title and indicate units of measurement.
Equations
Equations must be prepared using MathType.
They should be numbered consecutively on the right in parentheses.
Symbols of physical quantities must be presented in italic.
Conclusions
The conclusions are a concise summary of the obtained results. The following are not allowed:
- citation of sources;
- references to figures or tables;
- repetition of the abstract.
References
The reference list must be formatted in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015.
- References are numbered in the order of citation.
- In-text citations are indicated in square brackets.
- DOI (in the format https://doi.org/) must be provided where available.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of bibliographic data.
Proofreading
Authors must return corrected proofs within 2–3 days after receipt.
Article Formatting Guidelines
The publication length should be no less than 5 and no more than 10 pages (up to 20,000 characters).
According to the requirements, each article must include:
- problem statement and its relevance;
- analysis of recent research and identification of unresolved issues;
- formulation of the objectives;
- presentation of the main research results with justification;
- conclusions and prospects for further research.
Formatting Standards
- Font size: 12 pt
- Line spacing: at least 14 pt
- Font: Times New Roman
- Page format: A4
- Margins: 2 cm on all sides
- Text and tables must be prepared in Microsoft Word
- Languages of publication: Ukrainian, English
The manuscript must be printed on one side of the page only. Authors’ surnames should be written in pencil on the back of each page.
Equations
Equations must be created using Equation Editor 3.0 or MathType 5.0.
- Greek and symbol styles should use the Symbol font
- All other text should be in Times New Roman
- Variables — italic
- Vectors/matrices — bold
Equation Formatting Parameters
- Normal text: 12 pt
- Large index: 8 pt
- Small index: 6 pt
- Large symbol: 16 pt
- Small symbol: 10 pt
References Formatting
The reference list must comply with DSTU GOST 7.1:2006 and be placed at the end of the article.
- References are listed in order of appearance (not alphabetically)
- In-text citations are provided in square brackets (e.g., [1, 2])
- References to unpublished works are not allowed
For sources available in both Ukrainian and English, references should correspond to the language of the article.
Author Information
After the reference list, author information must be provided, including:
- full name
- academic degree and title
- position
- department and institution
- postal address
- contact details (phone, fax, e-mail, website)
Additional Materials
The following must be submitted with the article:
- electronic version of the manuscript (doc/docx format);
- one printed copy;
- expert review certificate;
- structured text file.
