Preservation and Archiving Policy
The journal Scientific Papers of Vinnytsia National Technical University ensures the long-term preservation and continuous access to published materials through the use of modern digital archiving technologies.
In order to guarantee stable access to scientific content, the editorial office implements a number of procedures, including:
- regular backup of the journal’s electronic materials;
- continuous monitoring of system technical parameters, allowing timely prevention of issues related to software obsolescence or changes in file formats;
- use of digital preservation metadata to ensure proper identification and reproducibility of materials;
- application of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for reliable identification and access to scientific publications.
In addition, the metadata of the journal’s articles are stored in the institutional repository of Vinnytsia National Technical University and in the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, which provides an additional level of archiving and long-term preservation of scientific materials.
Complaints Handling Policy
The Editorial Board of the journal Scientific Papers of Vinnytsia National Technical University ensures prompt, impartial, and constructive consideration of all appeals related to the editorial activities of the journal.
Each complaint received is reviewed according to its nature and complexity. In decision-making, the editorial office is guided by the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the principles of academic integrity.
Suggestions, comments, or complaints regarding the journal’s activities may be submitted to the official email address of the editorial office. All submissions are reviewed within 30 working days from the date of receipt. If additional verification or investigation is required, this period may be extended.
A complaint must be clearly and concisely formulated and contain sufficient information to identify a potential violation of editorial or publication ethics. Where possible, the applicant may attach documents or other materials supporting the stated facts.
In cases where the appeal falls outside the journal’s competence (for example, personal claims against authors, reviewers, or editorial board members that are not related to editorial activities), the editorial office will provide a response explaining the reasons why such a complaint cannot be considered within the journal’s scope.
The editorial office reserves the right not to conduct an investigation in cases where the appeal is submitted in a form containing insults, threats, or defamatory statements.
